All about CHNGR / Curriculum Challenge
Help change the future of education. Get your team together and design Concordia’s first social
entrepreneurship and innovation certificate!
New challenges call for new approaches! We are inviting community members, faculty and students to collaborate to design a learning program that will prepare the next generation of social entrepreneurs and social innovators.
STEP 1- IDEA SPRINT
(until March 31th, 2016)
Join forces with other people you know (and some you don’t!) who have interesting ideas about learning for social entrepreneurship/innovation. Share your brightest ideas of how an exciting, effective program of learning could look like. The sky is the limit! Teams communicate their vision in a 2-3 page Idea Statement.
STEP 2- DESIGN SPRINT
(May 9th – July 1st, 2016)
The Idea Statements are evaluated and distilled into six great, diverse and exciting visions for learning. Teams shuffle, merge, and mobilize around the six ideas, with a common goal of transforming each into a formal curriculum proposal. A mentor will join each idea team to advise around the curriculum adoption process, and 2k$ will be provided to each idea to help further its development.
STEP 3- APPROVAL SPRINT
(July, 15th – Fall 2016)
Pulling from the submissions, a top idea is selected to run the last leg of the race. An award of $3k will be given to support the full development and approval process. We aim to enroll the first students into the program in Fall of 2017.
